Drop In! <\/strong><\/p>\n July 20\u2013August 28, 2026<\/strong>, ACC is offering drop-in advising only<\/em>\u2014no appointments are needed!<\/p>\n Monday\u2013Friday, 9 a.m.\u20133 p.m.<\/strong> Saturday Virtual Advising \n <\/div> If you’re returning to ACC after taking a break from classes or previously earned ACC credit through a dual credit program, you’re in the right place.<\/p>\n Before you’re assigned an academic advisor, you’ll meet with an academic advisor from the Online Advising team. They can help you prepare for registration, review any holds on your record, and answer questions about returning to ACC.<\/p>\n Use Your ACCMail Account<\/strong><\/p>\n For your security, please use your ACC student email account when scheduling an advising appointment or communicating with ACC.<\/p>\n Need help accessing your ACCMail?<\/strong> If you’re a former student and need your ACCMail account reactivated, contact the Student Affairs Help Desk at 512-223-4636 (Option 8).<\/p>\n Resolve Any Registration Holds<\/strong><\/p>\n Some returning students may have an Admissions hold requiring updated address or residency information before registering for classes.<\/p>\n If your account has this type of hold, complete the required forms before scheduling an advising appointment.<\/p>\n Button:<\/strong> Admissions & Enrollment Forms<\/a><\/p>\n If you are a former dual credit student who previously earned college credit while enrolled in high school and are continuing at or coming back to ACC to complete a degree or take classes to transfer to another college or university, please review this information. <\/p>\n Your official high school transcripts with a graduation date must be submitted to ACC. Contact your school’s Records or Counseling office to order the official transcript and have it sent to ACC. <\/p>\n After you have graduated, ACC will need your complete set of college readiness scores. If you took TSI assessment in high school, please submit official scores using this online TSI request form<\/a>. If you were exempt from TSI math based on SAT\/ACT\/TAKS\/STAAR testing, you must submit official scores directly from the testing service SAT<\/a> or ACT<\/a>. <\/p>\n Once all Admissions holds are resolved, you can meet with an Academic Guidance Specialist. See the website<\/a> for details.<\/p>\n Follow these steps if you are a student taking classes at our college for one semester only, with plans to transfer those credits back to your home college or university. You are not seeking a degree at ACC and are just completing specific courses you need.<\/p>\n Once all Admissions steps and holds are resolved, you can meet with an Advisor. <\/p>\n ***Requesting ACC Transcripts \u2013 All ACC students can request official ACC transcripts FREE of charge.<\/strong> To transfer your credit to another school, please follow the transcript request steps online at https:\/\/admissions.austincc.edu\/order-an-acc-transcript\/<\/a> <\/p>\n Important note: <\/strong> If you have a hold in Self Service that says \u201cYou must meet with an Advisor,\u201d ACC does not have your complete set of TSI scores. Complete the Retrieve TSI Assessment Scores form<\/a> or submit proof of test exemption (TSI completion). For more information, visit https:\/\/admissions.austincc.edu\/tsi-assessment\/<\/a> <\/p>\n If you will be taking classes on campus, make sure you get your meningitis vaccination record on file: https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/admissions\/meningitis-requirement<\/a>. This hold does not block registration.<\/p>\n Send your transcripts to ACC Admissions.<\/a><\/p>\n If you have not already sent the official transcript(s) for the schools you attended to ACC, please do so as soon as possible to prevent a registration hold being placed on your record.
