Members prepare to become corporate and community leaders by participating in learning groups, specialized workshops, mentorship opportunities, and more. As a member of BRASS, you\u2019ll celebrate your successes alongside a dynamic group of career-bound, culturally responsive peers.<\/p>\n<p>BRASS welcomes all interested students currently enrolled or planning to enroll at ACC. Our program encourages participation from students who identify with global majority backgrounds. Students can develop \u201cBRASS-solid\u201d leadership skills through active participation in BRASS events:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Leadership and Mentoring Opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Community Service Opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Student Led Activities <\/li>\n<li>Professional Development and Conference Attendance<\/li>\n<li>Milestone Celebrations (Course Completion, Transfer, Graduation etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSexXdpgys9Ldis8IzdppU1GoHc21Dv54CBtwLeLJMgyIkCzsA\/viewform?usp=header\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Submit a BRASS Interest Form<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"spotlight\">Steps To Join!<\/h2>\n<p><div class=\"list\"><p class=\"trigger\"><a href=\"#\">STEP 1: Apply and be Accepted to ACC<\/a><\/p><div class=\"toggle_container\"><div class=\"block\"><\/p>\n<p>To move forward, you must complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/admissions.austincc.edu\/new-student-application\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ACC New Student Application<\/a>, receive your acceptance, and either take the TSI Assessment or be exempt.<\/p>\n<p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/p>\n<p><div class=\"list\"><p class=\"trigger\"><a href=\"#\">STEP 2: Fill Out the Student Interest Form<\/a><\/p><div class=\"toggle_container\"><div class=\"block\"><\/p>\n<p>Complete the interest form above.<\/p>\n<p>This form does not commit you to the program; it simply allows us to connect with you and assist you through the BRASS program process.<\/p>\n<p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/p>\n<p><div class=\"list\"><p class=\"trigger\"><a href=\"#\">STEP 3: Connect with a BRASS Advisor<\/a><\/p><div class=\"toggle_container\"><div class=\"block\"><\/p>\n<p>Once you meet the above requirements, we will connect you with an BRASS Advisor. During your appointment, the advisor will explain the program details and discuss whether it aligns with your career and degree plan.<\/p>\n<p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/p>\n<p><div class=\"list\"><p class=\"trigger\"><a href=\"#\">STEP 3: Commitment and Registration<\/a><\/p><div class=\"toggle_container\"><div class=\"block\"><\/p>\n<p>Commitment includes:<\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enrolling in BRASS-designated classes.<\/li>\n<li>Attending at least three events per semester including .\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mandatory New Student Orientation &#8211; August 28, 2026 <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Signing a virtual commitment form provided by a BRASS advisor. After completion the advisor will register you in the designated BRASS classes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fall 2026 Course Schedule<\/h3>\n<p>BRASS supports the unique needs and interests of students in higher education.
