Hit your <strong>STRIDE<\/strong> with a job search approach that enables you to stand out in a competitive market.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Class Highlights<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Strategies for Today\u2019s Jobs<\/strong> is a free, non-credit 8-week course that shows you how to succeed in the job search process with clarity and confidence. Using our signature <strong>STRIDE<\/strong>&nbsp; approach (<strong>S<\/strong>trengths, <strong>T<\/strong>arget, <strong>R<\/strong>eflection, <strong>I<\/strong>mpact, <strong>D<\/strong>irection, <strong>E<\/strong>ngage), we help you take a <strong>career and life design<\/strong> point of view to finding work that is more than just a job. It is a fit.<\/p>\n<p>Whether you are looking for an internship, launching a career, changing employers, or transitioning into a new role, the Strategies for Today\u2019s Jobs course provides you with the know-how to find work that aligns with your strengths, values, and \u201cwhy.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Our toolkit for success includes:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>8 two-hour classes<\/strong> on topics like writing and\/or revising your resume and cover letter, establishing your professional brand, creating a portfolio, writing a LinkedIn profile, building your professional community, interviewing, and negotiating your salary<\/li>\n<li><strong>Weekly 1-on-1 career coaching<\/strong> to provide personalized help on creating job search materials and refining your messaging to get results<\/li>\n<li><strong>Access to premium job search platforms and assessment tools<\/strong> like Big Interview, Goldi, Career Coach, and CliftonStrengths<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who Can Benefit?<\/h3>\n<p>This free course is for anyone looking for their next move into a full-time job, consulting gig, internship, apprenticeship, or career exploration. Everyone is welcome, not just currently enrolled ACC students. To receive a Satisfactory grade, students must meet attendance and assignment requirements and meet weekly with an assigned Career Specialist.
