Financial aid can help you pay for college. Many students are eligible for some type of financial assistance like grants, scholarships, work-study, or loans. The Financial Aid Office at Austin Community College will work with you to explore options and access the funds you need to pay for college.

How to Apply

The first step is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Include ACC’s FAFSA code 012015 on your application.

When to Apply

Every October 1, the financial aid application becomes available for the next academic year. An academic year starts with a fall semester and includes the following spring and summer.

Apply early (as soon as October 1!) for the best financial aid options. Some funds are limited, so the sooner you apply the better your chances of accessing first-come, first-served financial aid.

Use the priority dates below to ensure your financial aid is ready before your tuition is due. If you miss the priority date, don’t worry. ACC processes financial aid applications year-round. You may even receive financial aid for classes you’re currently taking!

  • Fall classes – April 1
  • Spring classes – October 15
  • Summer classes – March 1

Check the Status of Your Financial Aid Application

(ACCeID required)
