Students must meet Texas residency requirements outlined in <a href=\"https:\/\/admissions.austincc.edu\/residency-information\/residency-status-undocumented-students\/?_gl=1%2A9mc6k9%2A_ga%2AMjQyODU4ODM3LjE3MDY3OTY3NjM.%2A_ga_WCRFYXY5XT%2AMTcwNzE1MjMwNy43LjEuMTcwNzE1MjMxOC40OS4wLjA\">Senate Bill 1528 (SB 1528)<\/a>. <\/li>\n<li><strong>New Students:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/admissions.austincc.edu\/new-student-application\/\">Apply to ACC<\/a> and activate your <a href=\"https:\/\/students.austincc.edu\/help\/acceid\/\">ACC eID<\/a> before submitting the TASFA. Your ACC eID connects your TASFA to your student account.<\/li>\n<li>Submit a <a href=\"https:\/\/admissions.austincc.edu\/residency-information\/residency-status-undocumented-students\/\">Residency Affidavit Form<\/a> with ACC\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/offices.austincc.edu\/admissions-and-enrollment\/\">Admissions &amp; Enrollment<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2026-2027 TASFA Steps (New School Year)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Follow these steps to secure your financial aid for the 2026-2027 school year, starting with Fall 2026. Include ACC in your application using school code <strong>012015 <\/strong>and your <a href=\"https:\/\/students.austincc.edu\/help\/acceid\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/students.austincc.edu\/help\/acceid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ACC eID<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><div class=\"list\"><p class=\"trigger\"><a href=\"#\">Step 1: Submit the 2026-2027 TASFA<\/a><\/p><div class=\"toggle_container\"><div class=\"block\"><\/p>\n<p>The 2026-2027 TASFA is available online or in paper format. We recommend using the online form, but you can submit a paper application if you prefer.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Option 1: Complete the online eTASFA<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.highered.texas.gov\/our-work\/empowering-our-students\/tasfa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">highered.texas.gov\/tasfa<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Scroll down to the middle of the page and select \u201cStart the Online TASFA\u201d.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you are a new user, click \u201cVisit the TASFA Decision page\u201d to answer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.highered.texas.gov\/our-work\/empowering-our-students\/tasfa\/tasfa-decision\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">pre-application questions<\/a> ensuring your eligibility to continue with the TASFA application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Enter your account credentials, or if you do not have an account yet, create one by selecting \u201cSign up now.\u201d\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Complete the two-step verification process for security.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>After logging in, select \u201cApply Now\u201d to begin the eTASFA application.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enter your personal information, background, and income details. If applicable, enter your parent(s) or spouse\u2019s information as well.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Important: <\/strong>In the College section, include ACC using the school code <strong>012015<\/strong>. Then, enter your <a href=\"https:\/\/students.austincc.edu\/help\/acceid\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/students.austincc.edu\/help\/acceid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ACC eID<\/a> under \u201cCollege Student ID.\u201d Your ACC eID connects your application to your student account. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Sign and Submit\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If parent information is required, you&#8217;ll need to request your parent\u2019s signature by entering their email within your application. The email used for your parent cannot be the same as your student email.
