Now is the time to finish up your applications to secure financial support for college. The priority deadline for all ACC students is Wednesday, May 1. Every year, additional money is available—unclaimed—to students. Make sure you get the help you need!
Financial aid plays a pivotal role in making college accessible through financial support such as grants, scholarships, work-study programs, and loans for every student, whether a citizen, non-citizen, or undocumented.
By submitting your application by May 1, you ensure your eligibility and receive priority consideration for fall 2024. Although applications will continue to be accepted beyond this date, delaying submission may result in longer processing times.
FAFSA/TASFA APPLICATION
The first step in this process is completing either the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA). The TASFA specifically caters to non-citizens and undocumented students who are Texas residents, while the FAFSA serves all other students.
If you need assistance or guidance throughout the application process, ACC offers 1-on-1 support through its Financial Aid Office. For streamlined processing, ensure that you include ACC’s FAFSA code 012015 on your application.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Additionally, scholarships can stretch resources even further. ACC simplifies the process by requiring just one application to be considered for all available scholarships at the college. If you need personalized assistance or guidance, you can schedule an appointment or visit one of the college’s ACCelerators.
