As the spring semester winds down and the sun begins to shine a little brighter, it’s easy for students to shift their focus away from school. However, with registration right around the corner, Austin Community College District (ACC) wants to support students to plan now for fall 2024 registration.
DATES
Registration dates are determined by the number of ACC course credits a student has completed. Current and former students with 60 or more ACC credit hours and parenting students are eligible to register on the first day of registration, Monday, May 13, to allow extra time to secure their classes. Check out the schedule below or visit the Registration & Important Dates page to find the full registration schedule. Registration opens to everyone on Friday, May 17.
Students with 60+ ACC Credit Hours » Register Starting Monday, May 13

WHY ACC
Need more flexibility? Talk to your advisor about in-person and virtual class options, including flexible online, scheduled online, hybrid, and hy-flex options. You can also learn more about short semester courses, which can be completed in as little as 14,12, or 8 weeks.
ACC continues to prioritize making college more accessible and affordable. For the 11th straight year, the ACC Board of Trustees voted to maintain tuition and fees. Credits earned at ACC transfer seamlessly to the state’s four-year colleges and universities but cost, on average, about 70 percent less.
WHY PLAN NOW
1. Secure Your Ideal Schedule: By reviewing the requirements and offerings, you can identify the classes you need and the times that work best for you. Popular courses and desirable time slots tend to fill up quickly!
2. Avoid Last-Minute Stress: Let’s face it—registering for classes can be stressful, especially when you’re scrambling to find open spots in your required courses. You can alleviate some of that last-minute pressure by starting the planning process now.
3. Seek Guidance and Support: Planning for fall registration isn’t something you have to tackle alone. Now is an excellent time to contact academic advisors, faculty members, or peers for guidance and support. ACC offers 1-on-1 help to get the classes you need.
The college will host Registration Week beginning Monday, May 13 for more support. For more information, visit austincc.edu/registrationweek.
