Get ready for the summer 2024 semester! Austin Community College District (ACC) welcomes returning and new Riverbats on Tuesday, May 28. The college provides helpful information to help you find everything from your classroom and support to your community.
Preparing for your first day
Find your class: Before the first day of class, check your course schedule or syllabus to determine where and when your classes meet. Check out the image below to see how to read the course schedule. Make sure you note the day your class meets, and remember the summer semester begins on Tuesday. Most campuses use a straightforward numbering system: the first digit indicates the building, and the second digit tells you the floor.
Getting to and from campus
Driving: Parking permits are now digital and are available at no charge. Get your free ACC Parking Permit HERE.
Public Transportation: Eligible faculty, staff, and students can ride Capital Metro for free.
Navigating campus
Know your campus: ACC encourages students to come to your campus ahead of the first day of class. Each ACC campus has its unique layout. You can visit each campus page to learn key elements of each and find a building map.
Get support for your classes
Academic support: Tutoring, academic coaching, advising, technology support, money management, and more is all available for FREE to ACC students. All services are available online and in person.
Essential resources: MyACC account provides quick access to Blackboard, registration, grades, schedules, notifications, and more.
Find your community
Student Life: ACC has multiple clubs, intramural sports, events, and more. Stay up to date with offerings on the Student InfoHub, bookmark the Student Life page, and register for the special student newsletter, the Riverbat Echo. Need more information, visit austincc.edu/firstweek.
