The first week of the fall 2024 semester is over, and more students are coming to campus. As of the first day of classes on August 26, 2024, College data indicate 39,831 students enrolled.

To support you, hundreds of College employees stationed around all 11 campuses to welcome and help new and returning students find their way to class.

The help doesn’t stop after the first week. ACC offers free support all semester long — from financial and academic support to mental health and personal resources.

ACC campuses have been buzzing with new and returning students and faculty who came to campus for the start of the fall 2024 semester.
To support our students during the first days of the semester, the College continued its tradition of welcoming and helping our new and returning students on the first two days of the new semester with Welcome Riverbats teams on all 11 campuses
New this year, the College piloted a new wayfinding app created by the Facilities Information Systems team.
Interactive maps map are available on kiosks throughout campuses or for download to a mobile device.
Volunteer groups were stationed across each campus to provide students with information, directions, Riverbats swag, and hygiene kits provided by the American Association for Women in Community College
Registered students may obtain a free ACC Student ID card in person at any campus Admissions and Enrollment office.
ACC offers free support all semester long.
The fall 2024 semester saw the return of many familiar faces on ACC campuses, along with a growing number of new ones.
Enrollment numbers rebounded to pre-pandemic levels
First Time at ACC student enrollment increased by compared to the previous fall and compared to two years ago.
Nearly 5,000 students enrolled at ACC this fall are part of the Free Tuition Pilot Program which supports 2024 high school graduates and GED completers.
Nearly 4,000 students enrolled this fall have received an Affordability Scholarship which honors students who were enrolled in a credit course during the spring 2024 semester.
