Adulthood comes with new responsibilities that require practical skills beyond the classroom. To help students transition smoothly, Austin Community College District (ACC) hosts its annual Adulting 101 event.
Date: Friday, March 7
Time: 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Location: ACC Northridge Campus, 11928 Stonehollow Drive
The event launches with a student-led panel that discusses academic journeys, financial goals, and navigating student life at ACC. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and hear insight from experienced students.
Participants will attend interactive workshops covering essential life skills like managing finances, maintaining mental and physical well-being, preparing for a career, and handling everyday responsibilities. Local vendors, free lunch, giveaways, and door prizes will also be available.
The event is free and open to students, staff, faculty, and the community. Registration is recommended but not required.
