There is still time to start pursuing your Bachelor of Applied Technology in Manufacturing Engineering Technology (BATMET) this fall. The application deadline is now Sunday, June 15.

The program is designed for students who have already earned an eligible associate degree — like in Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or a similar field — and want to move into supervisory, engineering, or tech leadership roles.

Students will take classes at the ACC Highland Campus with both full- and part-time cohorts. It also offers hybrid and online course options, as well as an internship component for all students.

Why Manufacturing?

Manufacturing is more advanced, automated, and essential than ever, especially in Central Texas. From semiconductors and aerospace to biotech and clean energy, the region’s manufacturing sector is booming, and companies need skilled professionals who can lead, innovate, and grow with the industry.

With a BATMET degree, you’ll be prepared for in-demand roles like:

  • Process Technologist
  • Manufacturing Supervisor
  • Production Supervisor
  • Automation Specialist
  • Quality Assurance Analyst
  • Logistics Coordinator
  • Project Manager
