If you’re taking classes at ACC’s Round Rock Campus, you’ll notice construction happening in and around Building 1000. The work is part of a project to create a centralized Student Support Center. It will bring together student services, including a new Welcome Center, Career Center, Admissions, Veterans Affairs, and Advising for easy access.

Construction is now halfway complete. Crews have finished all interior demolition and installed framing for new walls. Drywall is being installed and inspections are expected later this month. Behind the scenes, workers are also installing new electrical systems, internet infrastructure, and HVAC upgrades.

Outside the building, construction teams are working on sidewalks and drainage updates that will improve access and safety around campus.

Once finished, the new space will make it easier for students to get the support they need without having to travel across campus. The project is part of ACC’s ongoing efforts to improve the student experience and remove barriers to success.

This isn’t the only project underway at the Round Rock Campus. To learn more about the Applied Technology Expansion at the Round Rock Campus, visit austincc.edu/bond.
