Austin Community College District (ACC) is on track to welcome more Dental Hygiene students this fall at the Eastview Campus.
Construction of Phase 1 is officially complete, marking a major milestone in the project. Furniture and equipment installation is expected in early August.
Phase 2 is now in its final stages, with building finishes being installed and final mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work underway. The brand-new exterior accessibility ramp is also nearing completion.
The project includes the renovation of 13,850 square feet at the Eastview Campus, Building 8000. The expansion includes the Dental Clinic, which will double the number of dental treatment rooms from 16 to 32, as well as additional classrooms and office spaces. This project is one of the first major construction efforts underway through the College’s 2022 General Obligation Bond.
