The latest episode of Voices Uniting Everyone (VUE) is here. It looks at the impact and evolution of criminal justice education. Hosted by Larry Davis, ACC’s vice chancellor of Belonging & Purpose, and Dr. LaKisha Barrett, Biology associate professor at ACC, the episode explores how ACC is training the next generation of legal and community professionals.

This episode features Felecia Williams, a Criminal Justice adjunct professor and 26-year veteran of the Austin Police Department, alongside current student Yesenia Ruiz Colchado. 

Together, they look at the transition from law enforcement to the classroom and the importance of teaching critical thinking and the value of building authentic relationships within the communities students will eventually serve.
