Are you a high school student ready to get ahead? Or do you know one? Dual credit lets you earn college credit while still in high school, helping you save money, explore career pathways, and build momentum toward your future.
Learn how to make the most out of your dual credit classes with ACC. The College hosts a series of virtual dual credit information sessions to help you learn how it works, what to expect from college-level courses, and how to plan your next steps.
Upcoming Virtual Dual Credit Information Sessions
- Tuesday, February 17 | 6:30–7:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, March 10 | 6 –7 p.m.
- Tuesday, April 14 | 6 –7 p.m.
- Tuesday, April 21 | 6 –7 p.m. (Homeschool families)
Starting this year, your dual credit classes go even further! Recent state legislation (SB 1191) strengthens how dual credit courses are recognized. Your classes earn the same GPA weight as other college programs, like AP-classes.
During the information sessions, you’ll learn:
- How to enroll and plan your schedule
- What classes are available and where they’re offered (high school, ACC campus, or online)
- How credits transfer and how dual credit compares to AP
- What support services are available to help you succeed
To get started with dual credit, talk with your high school counselor or contact ACC High School Programs at [email protected].
