Austin Community College District (ACC) offers support for students who need disability-related accommodations through Access & Disability Support (ADS) and Student Accessibility Services (SAS).

If you experience academic barriers due to a disability, you can apply for accommodations and meet with an SAS Advocate to discuss your needs. Once approved, accommodations may include testing adjustments, accessible course materials, or other classroom supports. You also can schedule consultations to ask questions or update accommodations for new classes.

ACC also provides sign language interpreting and captioning services, as well as support for students in Adult Education and Continuing Education programs who may need accommodations.

You are encouraged to request services early to ensure support is in place for your classes.
