ACC’s Board of Trustees has accepted a petition from Pflugerville ISD territory residents that could put the question before voters as soon as this November.
What This Means for You
Right now, students living in the Pflugerville ISD area pay $286 per credit hour at ACC, which includes a $201 out-of-district fee. If annexation is approved by voters, that rate drops to $85 per credit hour. For a full 60-credit-hour degree, that’s a difference of more than $12,000.
What the Proposed Service Plan Includes
ACC’s proposed service plan outlines what would become available to Pflugerville residents if voters choose to join the district, including:
- In-district tuition rate of $85 per credit hour
- Access to ACC’s four bachelor’s degree programs in Nursing, Cybersecurity, Software Development, and Advanced Manufacturing
- Expanded dual credit and career-connected learning opportunities through Pflugerville ISD’s Career and Technical Education facility
- ACC student support services, including: advising, financial aid, academic and career counseling, and student life
