Looking to add a furry family member this summer? Austin Community College District’s (ACC) Veterinary Technology Program has cats and dogs ready to find their forever homes.

Each adoptable pet receives comprehensive medical care while participating in ACC’s Veterinary Technology Program. Under the supervision of licensed professionals, Veterinary Technology students provide hands-on care that includes spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchipping, flea and heartworm prevention, daily enrichment, and basic training.

  1. Welcome Them Home

Pets are ready to go home at the end of the academic semester after completing their veterinary care and training.

At the same time, it provides ACC Veterinary Technology students with invaluable real-world clinical experience before entering the workforce.
