Throughout Hispanic Heritage Month, photographs by Austin artist Rojelio \u201cRoj\u201d Rodriguez have been on display in all 11 Student Life offices. On Thursday, October 12, Austin Community College District (ACC) hosts a conversation to discuss Mexican culture through the eyes of the artist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ACC students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend this free event. Lunch will be provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mi Sangre: A Conversation with Rojelio Rodriguez<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMi Sangre\u201d is Rodriguez\u2019s photo-documentation of a personal journey to retrace his Mexican heritage on both sides of the US\u2013Mexico border. He will talk about this recent book, his inspiration, the meaning behind his work, and take questions from the audience. Observers also will be invited to share their insights and stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mi Sangre: A Conversation with Rojelio \u201cRoj\u201d Rodriguez, is a collaboration between ACC\u2019s Community Engagement Division, Student Life, and \u201cEl Centro\u201d Latin American Cultural Center. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
