Austin Community College District (ACC) hosts a series of events during Black History Month to honor the legacy and contributions of one of the college\u2019s founding faculty members and the current director of the ACC African-American Cultural Center \u2014 Roland Hayes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Roland Hayes Legacy Project features two Q+A sessions with Hayes, where he shares his love and appreciation for African-American history and culture. He also will talk about his insights from 50 years of teaching at ACC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both events will be held in the college\u2019s African-American Cultural Center at Eastview Campus. The events are free and open to students, employees, and the community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
