The Center hosts events and conversations that offer racial healing and explore ways to transform the college and community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Student Groups<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/students.austincc.edu\/ascender\/\">ASCENDER<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Student support organization created to help improve the educational outcomes of Latino and underserved student populations throughout the state.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/students.austincc.edu\/brass\/\">Bold Representation of Achievement Through Student Support (BRASS)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Student support organization created to help prepare students to become leaders through learning groups, workshops, mentorships, and more.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/students\/honors-program\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Honors Program<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An academic-focused program designed to provide preparation for university-level work.
