Austin Community College District (ACC) Fashion Incubator launches a course in collaboration with Macy\u2019s as part of the brand\u2019s social purpose platform, Mission Every One<\/em><\/a>. For aspiring fashion designers, this course provides an expanded checklist, complete with actionable steps to kickstart their journey from concept to creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Future of Fashion Program Kickoff<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time: <\/strong>6 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Location: <\/strong>Domain Macy\u2019s (3311 Esperanza Crossing)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The kick-off is designed to provide participants with the essential knowledge and skills needed to bring their fashion collections to market. This is the second in-store launch of the Future of Fashion series with Macy’s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis series is a critical step for early-stage founders understanding what it takes to create a fashion business,\u201d says Nina Means, director of ACC\u2019s Fashion Incubator. \u201cThis partnership facilitates Austin brands\u2019 access to the larger Macy’s workshop held in New York.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This comprehensive virtual series is crafted to be a roadmap for designers eager to make their mark in the fashion industry. Over the course of seven weeks, participants will delve into critical topics that every designer needs to master.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
