All 17 students who graduated in May achieved a 100% on-time completion rate and 100% pass rate on both the national written board exam and the regional clinical board exam!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI am so proud of our students and the faculty that supported them in getting there. We remain committed to fostering a supportive and challenging educational environment to ensure we are creating students with high standards of patient care,\u201d says Michelle Landrum, Dental Hygiene Department Chair. \u201cThe achievements of the Class of 2024 serve as a testament to the hard work and dedication of students, faculty, and staff, and they set a high benchmark for future cohorts.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Outstanding Outcomes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>On-Time Completion: <\/strong>All 17 students graduated on schedule, reflecting the program&#8217;s commitment to student success and rigorous preparation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>National Board Performance: <\/strong>ACC graduates demonstrated a 100% year-end pass rate on the written National Board Dental Hygiene Examination, with a 94% passing on their first attempt. The cohort&#8217;s performance ranked in the 97th percentile nationwide compared to other dental hygiene programs, including those at the bachelor\u2019s degree level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Clinical Board Exam Excellence:<\/strong> The students also achieved a 100% pass rate on the clinical regional board exam, with an average score of 96%, underscoring their readiness to enter the professional workforce.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the ACC Dental Hygiene Program<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ACC Dental Hygiene Program offers a comprehensive Associate of Applied Science degree, preparing students for careers as licensed dental hygienists.
