Every semester, ACC\u2019s Veterinary Technology students, faculty, and staff nurture and care for shelter animals from all over Central Texas. Now, these four-legged friends are searching for their forever homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This fall\u2019s adoption cohort includes pets of all ages and personalities, each with a unique story. Whether you&#8217;re looking for a playful puppy, a calm senior cat, or a loyal companion, ACC has a variety of pets waiting for you to meet them!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adopting a pet through ACC is a straightforward and heartwarming experience. Here\u2019s how you can bring home your new best friend:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Visit the Elgin Campus:<\/strong> Schedule a time to visit and meet the animals by contacting Libby Chow at <a href=\"mailto:elizabeth.chow@austincc.edu\">elizabeth.chow@austincc.edu<\/a>.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Get to Know the Pets:<\/strong> Spend quality time with the animals to find the perfect fit for your family and lifestyle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Complete an Adoption Application: <\/strong>Tell us about your living situation and prior experience with pets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Affordable Adoption Fee:<\/strong> A small adoption fee helps cover each pet&#8217;s care and medical needs, including vaccinations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why Adopt from ACC\u2019s Vet Tech Program?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By adopting through ACC, you\u2019re providing a pet with a forever home and supporting ACC\u2019s mission to give students hands-on experience in veterinary care.
