Applications are now open for the <a href=\"https:\/\/clscholarship.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Program. <\/a>CLS is a fully funded intensive summer language program. It is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and the program funds all program costs, including travel, housing, and meals.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why Apply for the CLS Program?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While CLS isn\u2019t directly part of ACC\u2019s Study Abroad Program, it aligns with the College\u2019s mission to encourage intercultural understanding. The immersive experience is ideal for students seeking to broaden their knowledge of another culture, as it provides 8-10 weeks of rigorous language study in a host country.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The CLS Program application period is now open! Applications are due by <strong>Tuesday, November<\/strong> <strong>19, at 7 p.m<\/strong>. Accepted students will be notified in January 2025, and final decisions are expected by March 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program\u2019s goal is to advance U.S. national security and economic interests by promoting critical language skills\u2014and it offers ACC students a chance to engage in global learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/clscholarship.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here for more information.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ACC\u2019s Summer 2025 Study Abroad programs include courses across multiple disciplines and destinations.
