A Note from the Student Government Association<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ready to go green? The Austin Community College District Student Government Association (SGA) invites you to a series of events designed to make our campuses and community cleaner and greener. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SGA\u2019s Environmental Committee hosts bi-weekly cleanup events at campuses and community spaces throughout the district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every other Friday, students, faculty, and community members are invited to a campus or community space of the week. The group will work together to remove litter, promote recycling, and enhance the natural beauty of our environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThese cleanups not only help reduce pollution and improve the local ecosystem but also foster a sense of civic responsibility and environmental stewardship among participants,\u201d says the SGA. \u201cBy joining us, you\u2019ll be contributing to a more sustainable future while connecting with like-minded individuals who are passionate about protecting our planet.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next event is a community clean-up:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
