Chief Disher brings 29 years of public safety experience to ACC. She comes to ACC PD from the Austin Police Department, where she most recently oversaw the Special Victims Bureau as the assistant chief. She has also led numerous divisions at the APD, including patrol, recruiting, training, emergency management, and major crimes. Known for her strong community ties, she was APD\u2019s first Executive Lieutenant appointed as Community Engagement Coordinator to the Chief\u2019s Office. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
