Here&#8217;s what you need to know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Support for Your Classes &amp; Tuition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Your first step: check your tuition payment deadlines. <strong>The first deadline is August 12, but your due date may be different.<\/strong> Log in to Self-Service and check your tuition payment deadline. Missing it could result in being dropped from your classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re in the Free Tuition Pilot Program, you may still be responsible for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Course-specific fees<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Textbooks and materials<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure to review your class schedule and budget for these expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ACC\u2019s financial aid team offers 1-on-1 help with the FAFSA and TASFA to make sure you get the funding you qualify for. You can also get access to hundreds of scholarships every year. The College has one application to automatically match you with all the scholarships you\u2019re eligible for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Get the financial help you need at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/paying-for-college\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">austincc.edu\/paying-for-college<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Support for Your Life Outside the Classroom<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Build a budget, learn to manage spending, and get long-term financial tips through ACC\u2019s free <a href=\"https:\/\/students.austincc.edu\/money\/\">money coaching services<\/a>. If you are looking to work while taking classes, check out ACC\u2019s Career Services. <a href=\"https:\/\/students.austincc.edu\/career-services\/jobs-and-internships\/\">ACC will connect you with on-campus jobs, internships, and career readiness programs that fit your goals.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember, ACC offers free support resources to help you stay on track. <a href=\"https:\/\/students.austincc.edu\/personal-resources\/child-care-for-college-students\/\">Child care scholarships<\/a> also help cover preschool or infant care that fits your family\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stay Safe from Scams<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A recent scam has targeted college students with fake internship offers. These messages may look like they come from ACC faculty but are sent from non-ACC email addresses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you receive a suspicious message like this, do not respond and report it to ACC Police immediately at 512-223-1231.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Still need help?
