You\u2019ll connect with peers, community members, and leaders for meaningful conversations\u2026all while enjoying free pizza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Constitution Day | What is an American?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Date:<\/strong> Wednesday, September 17<br><strong>Time:<\/strong> 6 \u2013 9 p.m.<br><strong>Location: <\/strong>Will be revealed to those who RSVP below<br><strong>Join: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSfhLEu5W5hECXN1NpSweAUf1gOrBiN3EU3kkiFt5tvev1GmSA\/viewform?usp=send_form\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RSVP here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants will take part in small group discussions led by ACC students and faculty. Those conversations are guided by the Declaration of Independence and voices like Frederick Douglass, Abraham Lincoln, Barbara Jordan, and Gloria Anzald\u00faa. The event style is inspired by the <a href=\"https:\/\/instruction.austincc.edu\/thegreatquestions\/community-seminar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Great Questions Community Seminar<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Afterward, elected officials will reflect on what they learned from joining the conversations.
