Now 20, Miliana will graduate with an Associate of Arts in Radio, Television, and Film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI had no idea what path I wanted to pursue after graduating from high school, and I felt like ACC would be the best option for me to take classes and figure things out, so I could eventually transfer to a university.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That exploration led her to the RTF program, where everything clicked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI knew when I was on the right path when I started taking my first-ever RTF classes in the fall of 2025. I became enamored with the department, realizing I had a passion for the creativity and expressiveness it brings.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Balancing five in-person classes, a part-time job, and involvement in two student organizations, Miliana pushed herself to stay consistent through a demanding final semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cShowing up every week and staying consistent has been very challenging, but I know the end will be very rewarding, and this experience is helping me grow as a person and making me stronger.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Her growth hasn\u2019t gone unnoticed. Miliana was named Riverbat Ambassador of the Year at ACC\u2019s Legacy of Leaders awards. The honor reflects both her leadership and dedication to the campus community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI am proud of the person I have become since being at ACC. I have grown more confident and started taking the initiative to seek out new and exciting opportunities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even as she celebrates this milestone, Miliana isn\u2019t done yet. She plans to continue at ACC, pursuing a certificate in the RTF program to further build her skills for a career in the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cCollege isn&#8217;t a race.
