The report finds that ACC graduates contribute approximately $1.2 billion each year through increased earnings and spending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis report reinforces what we see every day \u2014 ACC graduates are powering the Central Texas economy, stepping into high-demand careers and creating real pathways to opportunity,\u201d says ACC Chancellor Dr. Russell Lowery-Hart. \u201cThey stay here, they work here, and they\u2019re helping shape the future and vitality of our region.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A closer look at the impact<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The report outlines how ACC\u2019s economic contributions extend beyond campus operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>$778 million in direct annual spending by ACC and its students, employees, and visitors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$584 million in additional indirect and induced economic activity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the College employs more than 3,800 faculty and staff, whose wages and local spending generate further economic activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Workforce and student outcomes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>ACC serves more than 63,000 undergraduate students each year, preparing them for careers across high-demand industries, including healthcare, technology, and manufacturing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The report highlights strong outcomes for graduates:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Five years after completion, ACC graduates earn a median of more than $55,000, compared to about $33,000 for those with a high school diploma or less in the region<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>68% of graduates remain in the greater Austin area<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>85% stay in Texas, contributing to the state\u2019s workforce<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Role in a growing region<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The findings come as Central Texas continues to grow and the demand for skilled workers increases.
