This could include items like groceries, medicine, and household supplies.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Set a budget: <\/strong>Establish a budget of how much money you need to spend on essentials and stick to it. Setting this budget ahead of time will help you stay on track.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Plan your meals:<\/strong> Planning out your meals for the month can help you save money on groceries and reduce food waste. Make sure to factor in leftovers, too!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Find activities to do instead:<\/strong> Instead of shopping, find activities to do that don&#8217;t involve spending money. Go for a walk, read a book, or start a new hobby!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Spend time in your inbox unsubscribing from promotional email lists<\/strong> that tempt you to &#8220;grab that pair of shoes before the sale ends in [countdown] 3:00:26!&#8221;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Track your progress:<\/strong> Track your progress throughout the month and celebrate your success!
