On this day, all college offices, including all ACC Learning Labs and tutoring services, will be closed and unavailable.<\/p>\n<p>As part of this closure, virtual scheduling and online tutoring services via Upswing will be unavailable beginning Friday, April 3, at 5 pm.&nbsp;Learning Labs will remain open on Saturday, April 4, for in-person tutoring. &nbsp;Regular access to all tutoring services will resume on Monday, April 6.<\/p>\n<p>Our tutors are faculty and expert professionals who offer assistance with academic and workforce courses. You can check out their profiles in the scheduling platform below. Tutoring helps you stay on track with your coursework, understand assignments, and improve your study skills. At ACC, tutoring is FREE and available both online and in-person to all currently enrolled students. No appointments needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In-person tutoring sessions will take place in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/learninglab\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Learning Lab<\/a>\u00a0at the campus you choose.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You can browse subjects and tutors in the scheduling tool or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/students\/tutoring\/tutoring-schedules\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">check the campus schedule<\/a>\u00a0to see which tutoring subjects are offered at each campus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The amount of time with a tutor will vary based on the number of students in the lab at that time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have any questions about in-person tutoring, feel free to stop by the Learning Lab on your campus.<\/p>\n<p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/p>\n<p><div class=\"list\"><p class=\"trigger\"><a href=\"#\">For Online Tutoring<\/a><\/p><div class=\"toggle_container\"><div class=\"block\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:17px\">Hop into a tutoring session from the comfort of your own home or wherever you are! Our ACC tutors are ready to meet you where you are.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Drop-in visits are welcome online as long as there is a tutor available at that time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"font-size: 17px\">Use the request button above and select \u201conline\u201d to book an online tutoring session.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If an ACC tutor is not available for the time slot or subject you need, you can choose to meet with an online tutor from Upswing, our virtual tutoring partner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Technology Requirements:<\/strong>\u00a0You will need to use a Google Chrome browser. The program used for online tutoring is not compatible with Internet Explorer or Safari, and may not function smoothly with Mozilla Firefox. If your only option is Firefox, then you can try disabling add-ons for better functionality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Important:<\/strong>\u00a0Keep in mind that all appointments with ACC tutors are FREE for students currently enrolled in an ACC course.\u00a0<strong>Appointments with Upswing staff are limited to five hours per semester.<\/strong>\u00a0Not sure how to tell which tutor you are selecting?
