This service allows ACC students to virtually meet with a Tutor for one-on-one assistance. Appointments scheduled at least 24 hours in advance give you the best chance to secure your desired session date &amp; time, same day appointments may also be available. If you have any questions, email: <a href=\"mailto:tutoring@austincc.edu\">tutoring@austincc.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong>Get Started:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\"><strong>Submit an Online Tutoring Request<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><button><a href=\"https:\/\/austincc.upswing.io\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Submit Request<\/a><\/button><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:17px\"><strong>How it works:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">Use your ACCeID and password to log in to the Upswing platform.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">Select Meet with a tutor on your homepage, or click on Tutoring on the left-hand side blue panel.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">Use the search bar at the top to search for a subject, specific course, or name of a coach.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">Select a coach from the search results to see their profile, qualifications, star rating, and tutoring schedule.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">Next, you can message the coach, schedule a session, or have an immediate session (when available).<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">After you schedule or start an immediate session, you will receive a request to enter into the Virtual Learning Classroom.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">Once your session is about to start, click Go to Room in your coming session section on your profile.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">When you enter the Virtual Learning Classroom, you\u2019ll be able to start your tutoring session with your coach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-size:17px\"><strong>Audio and video capabilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">Chat feature<\/li>\n<li>File sharing<\/li>\n<li>Screen sharing<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">Graphing calculator<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">If an ACC tutor is not available, an Upswing tutor may be available for your subject.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\"><em>*Note: All ACC students are limited to 5 hours (300 minutes) per semester with Upswing tutors, access to ACC tutors is unlimited.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">Send any questions about your services to: <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">DeEadra Albert-Green Ph.D. <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:17px\">512-223-2646 <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">or<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">Alicia McWilliams <a href=\"mailto:alicia.mcwilliams@austincc.edu\">alicia.mcwilliams@austincc.edu<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Stress Less for Success and pre-schedule an online session with a Tutor.
