Fortunately, veterans have access to resources that can help them navigate these challenges. These include student support services for soldiers who want to get a degree. Austin Community College wants you to achieve the college and career goals you have set for yourself. Our Veteran Affairs specialists will help you navigate the college enrollment process and enjoy the full value of your active duty or veteran’s educational benefits.<\/p>\n

Beginning Fall 2015, Chapter 33 Post 9-11 GI Bill\u00ae veterans that are not 100% eligible for the benefit as per their Certificate of Eligibility and are not using the Texas Hazlewood Exemption to pay for unmet tuition will be required to pay tuition in full or engage in the college payment plan before their next tuition payment deadline. Failure to exercise either one of these options will result in the loss of all classes. When the college receives tuition payment from VA Regional Processing Office in Oklahoma, any tuition credit will be refunded to the student.<\/p>\n

Roe, M.D. Veterans Health Care and Benefits Improvement Act of 2020 requires educational institutions to make certain disclosures to students using federal military and\/or VA educational benefits. When to pay tuition & fees<\/h2>\n

In most cases, you must pay tuition and fees<\/a> when you register. Contact an ACC VA specialist<\/a> before your tuition deadline<\/a> to confirm other arrangements. Please note: if you are also receiving federal or state financial aid benefits, whatever resource is first available will be used to pay your tuition and fees.<\/p>\n
