BRASS

BRASS (Bold Representation of Achievement through Student Support) is a holistic support network for students at Austin Community College. Members prepare to become corporate and community leaders by participating in learning groups, specialized workshops, mentorship opportunities, and more. As a member of BRASS, you’ll celebrate your successes alongside a dynamic group of career-bound, culturally responsive peers.

BRASS welcomes all interested students currently enrolled or planning to enroll at ACC. Our program encourages participation from students who identify with global majority backgrounds. Students can develop “BRASS-solid” leadership skills through active participation in BRASS events:

  • Leadership and Mentoring Opportunities
  • Community Service Opportunities
  • Student Led Activities
  • Professional Development and Conference Attendance
  • Milestone Celebrations (Course Completion, Transfer, Graduation etc.)
