Kick off the semester with community, inspiration, and fun! This event brings together BRASS and Ascender students for an energizing afternoon designed to help you make the most of your spring semester.

- Network and connect with fellow students across our programs
- Learn about honors, service learning, and exciting study abroad opportunities
- Play games, win prizes, and enjoy a fun, welcoming atmosphere

SEXeducation SEXsion
SEX, SEX, SEX! Now that we’ve got your attention… let’s talk about the real stuff—no awkwardness, no shame, just honest conversation about sex. This is your chance to ask the questions you’ve always had—but never felt comfortable saying out loud. And don’t worry… you’ll be able to submit all your questions anonymously.
What to expect:
- Presentations from professionals in their areas of sexual health expertise
- Honest answers to your sex questions, curiosities, and concerns
- A supportive environment where all students are welcome
- Watch parties are happening at every Student Life Lounge
Food Info:
Pizza will be provided ONLY at the Highland campus watch party. Snacks will be available at the other SL lounges, but they may vary by location.

IMPACT DAY
Join us for Let’s Give Back!, a new event dedicated to making an impact and giving back to our Austin community! We’re organizing a volunteer project—possibly a park clean-up or another service activity—to make a positive difference together. Final details are still being confirmed, but you can expect a meaningful, hands-on experience that brings our ASCENDER family together in service.
Time & Location: TBD
After the volunteer activity, we’ll wrap up the day with a relaxing community picnic to celebrate our collective impact.

Legacy of Leaders: Student Recognition Ceremony
Each year, Legacy of Leaders brings together students, faculty, and staff to recognize the impact of student leaders who go above and beyond to build community and foster inclusion at ACC. Do you know an exceptional student who is involved in BRASS? Nominate them for the BRASS BRASS Stewardship Award or a Student Leader Award! Nominations are open now through March 13, 2026.
