ACC’s award-winning programs are designed to help ease this transition, providing veterans with the tools they need to succeed.
The College has once again been honored with the Gold Veterans Education Excellence Recognition Award (VEERA) by the Texas Veterans Commission (TVC). The Veterans Education Excellence Recognition Award (VEERA) acknowledges educational institutions that excel in serving veteran students and promotes best practices. These awards are presented at different levels, including Gold, Silver, and Bronze.
The ACC Veterans Resource Center (VRC) at Highland Campus, established in the fall of 2018, plays a pivotal role in supporting veterans. It offers essential resources such as financial aid, a supportive community, academic assistance, and emotional support to ACC’s student veterans and their families.
