Austin Community College District (ACC) is making it easier than ever for students to stay connected with college life by launching the new, free ACCTV app. Whether you’re looking for ACC Live events, departmental programming, or even graduation ceremonies, the app consolidates all of ACCTV’s content into a convenient “one-stop shop,” bringing it directly to your mobile devices and smart TVs.
ACCTV’s new app allows students to explore original shows like Day In The Life, Ready, Set, Ascender!, and Voices Uniting Everyone without being tied to traditional broadcast or cable TV. With the rise of streaming services and fewer students subscribing to cable, ACCTV recognized the need to offer its content in a more accessible and user-friendly format.
“We developed this app after directly responding to feedback from the ACC community,” says Carrye Glazar, ACCTV’s executive producer. “Students were telling us they either didn’t have cable or didn’t know about the channel. This app breaks down those barriers, making ACCTV’s content more inclusive and accessible.”
The app brings ACC’s educational programming to students’ fingertips, ensuring they can stay informed, inspired, and entertained anytime and anywhere. It’s now available for download on Apple, Roku, Amazon Fire, and Chrome platforms, and it’s completely free.

ACCTV will still be available on four broadcast channels, on its YouTube channel, and on digital signage on all ACC campuses.
