Check out the new monthly podcast from The African American Cultural Center. The Conversation Lounge will explore East Austin’s history and the future of African American culture.
Students are invited to join in person or virtually as each new episode drops. The kickoff will be noon on Wednesday, November 20, at the ACC Eastview Campus, African American Cultural Center, Building 2000, Room 2133. The conversations will continue every third Wednesday at noon throughout the 2024-25 school year.
Each month, featured guests will speak about their intergenerational journey, provide insight into historical events and places in the Austin area, and share lessons that inspire the audience to continue to highlight and celebrate the diverse experiences that build stronger communities.
