Changes are happening at Austin Community College District (ACC) to improve campus spaces and keep facilities running smoothly. Meet the new Associate Vice Chancellors (AVCs) of Maintenance and Operations and Campus Planning, Construction, and Sustainability.
Dr. Michael Garcia – Associate Vice Chancellor of Maintenance & Operations
Dr. Garcia will oversee campus maintenance, environmental health & safety, plumbing, and general campus operations—ensuring ACC spaces are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
Aziz Hussaini – Associate Vice Chancellor of Campus Planning, Construction & Sustainability
Hussaini will lead campus construction projects, sustainability efforts, and energy management.
These appointments come as part of a broader Campus Operations Reorganization Plan to improve the ways ACC can better serve its students and campus communities.
