Starting this fall, Austin Community College District (ACC) expands access to free food and personal care items for students with the launch of Riverbat Bites food pantries on every campus.
The expanded Riverbat Bites Food Pantries are designed to make sure students have what they need to stay focused and succeed.
Here’s what to expect:
- A pantry on every campus with healthy groceries, snacks, and personal care items
- Easy check-in with your ACC student ID
- SNAP enrollment support to help you access even more resources
All items are available free of charge. The Riverbat Bites Food Pantries will open on Monday, August 18. For more information and hours at your campus, visit austincc.edu/foodpantry.
ACC also offers several other options to get low to no-cost groceries. Visit austincc.edu/food for more information.
This initiative is part of ACC’s broader effort to support students beyond the classroom, with services including mental health care, emergency aid, child care assistance, and housing support. Learn more at austincc.edu/studentsupport.
