WIC: Women Infants & Children / español

If you are pregnant or the mother of young children you likely qualify for this benefit. Apply here (español) or email: WICHelp@austintexas.gov

Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program

Those eligible for WIC get $30 to use at Texas farmer’s markets..

Double Up Food Bucks / español 

Doubles the amount of Lone Star (SNAP), WIC, and FMNP benefits individuals and families can spend on fruits and vegetables at farmers’ markets, select grocery stores, and mobile markets in Austin.

Farmshare Fresh For Less Mobile Markets

Low-cost weekly fresh produce & groceries in Travis County. Accepts SNAP benefits.

Hays County Food Bank

Regular weekly grocery distributions in Hays county. 

Round Rock Area Serving Center

Food staples, fresh produce (from 30+ gardens) and more (Williamson County and beyond).

The Caring Place

Individuals and families in the service area can visit the food pantry.

Hill Country Community Ministries

Food pantries & Fresh Food For All produce program (Williamson County and beyond).

Grocery Delivery (Free/Low Cost)

Central Texas Food Bank Home Delivery Program

Participants enrolled in the program will receive a monthly box of shelf stable groceries, delivered directly to their home. All groceries and delivery are free of charge.

Farmshare Fresh For Less Mobile Markets

Low-cost weekly fresh produce & groceries in Travis County offering curbside delivery to select areas.  Accepts SNAP benefits.

Prepared Meal PickUp

Saffron Trust/Cook’s Nook/Feeding Austin Families Program

Free ready-to-eat meals and groceries to Travis County residents. Order a free meal by filling out their form.

Caritas Community Kitchen  

Free lunch M-F (11am -12:30) in downtown Austin. 611 Neches Street

Angel House Soup Kitchen of Austin Baptist

Serving breakfast 9:30am -10am  and lunch 11am-12:30pm daily at 908 E Cesar Chavez, Austin
