ACC's Food Access Resources

Grocery Pick-Up Schedule (on various ACC Campuses)
Pick-up some free groceries (fresh produce, proteins, dairy, grains and more). Free and open to all ACC students, staff, faculty, and the public.

Student Care Center (SCC) (at Highland Campus)
Come on into the Food Mart in the SCC at ACC’s Highland Campus (Building 1000, West Entrance). ACC students, faculty and staff can pick-up groceries and ready-to-eat food at no-cost. No appointment necessary.

Calendar lists community sites offering groceries and food throughout Central Texas each day. This can be added to one’s Google calendar. Updated regularly, but individual organizations may change their schedules.

Riverside Campus Groceries and Events
ACC students and employees are invited to grab some groceries on-campus at new self-serve Groceries 2 Go locations and to join new ACC FM2 (Free Meal & Farmers Market) events to enjoy a festive grilled lunch and pick up fresh produce and groceries while learning about a variety of helpful resources (all at no-cost).

SNAP: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program / español
Visit our SNAP Benefits website to learn more about SNAP for students and families.

ACC Support Center staff can help eligible ACC students enroll in these federal assistance programs. Contact [email protected] to enroll.

Central Texas Food Bank also offers application assistance: Schedule an appointment to enroll (español) online or call their Help Line Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 855-366-3401

WIC: Women Infants & Children / español
If you are pregnant or the mother of young children you likely qualify for this benefit. Apply here (español) or email: [email protected] 

WIC Grocery Resources: Email [email protected] for WIC Shopper Program or visit Lone Star Family Market (español).

Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program
Those eligible for WIC get $30 to use at Texas farmer’s markets.

Double Up Food Bucks / español 
Doubles the amount of Lone Star (SNAP), WIC, and FMNP benefits individuals and families can spend on fruits and vegetables at farmers’ markets, select grocery stores, and mobile markets in Austin.

Farmshare Fresh For Less Mobile Markets
Low-cost weekly fresh produce & groceries in Travis County. Accepts SNAP benefits.

Hays County Food Bank
Regular weekly grocery distributions in Hays County. 

Round Rock Area Serving Center
Food staples, fresh produce (from 30+ gardens), and more (Williamson County and beyond).

The Caring Place
Individuals and families in the service area can visit the food pantry.

Hill Country Community Ministries
Food pantries & Fresh Food For All produce program (Williamson County and beyond).

Community Grocery Delivery (Free/Low Cost)

Central Texas Food Bank Home Delivery Program
Participants enrolled in the program will receive a monthly box of shelf-stable groceries, delivered directly to their home. All groceries and delivery are free of charge.

Farmshare Fresh For Less Home Delivery
Low-cost weekly fresh produce & groceries in Travis County offering curbside delivery to select areas.  Accepts SNAP benefits.

Prepared Meal PickUp

Saffron Trust/Feeding Austin Families Program
Free ready-to-eat meals and groceries every weekday in Pflugerville and Austin. Order a free meal by filling out their form. 512-599-9011 ([email protected])

Caritas Community Kitchen  
Free lunch M-F (11am -12:30) in downtown Austin. 611 Neches Street

Angel House Soup Kitchen of Austin Baptist
