Did you know that almost 1 in 3 ACC students is balancing school, work, and family? The newest episode of “Day in the Life” shines a spotlight on what it’s really like to be a college student and a parent.
This episode follows three Riverbats:
- Karol Iruegas, a mother of two and first-generation student studying Cybersecurity
- De’Ja Reed, a General Studies major and mother of a toddler who receives child care support while working multiple jobs
- Antonio Stoimenovski, a Computer Science & Information Technology student and father, supported through Capital IDEA
You’ll see the real challenges and triumphs of parenting students and how ACC resources like child care assistance, flexible classes, and financial aid help them keep moving forward.
