More than 100 students explored housing options and connected with local providers during ACC’s first-ever Supportive Housing Fair on Wednesday, October 7.
Hosted by the ACC C.A.R.E. Network at Highland Campus, the event brought together 10 housing providers from across the greater Austin area, giving students an opportunity to learn about available housing, compare options, and ask questions about eligibility and the application process.
Exploring Housing Options
Students were connected directly with representatives offering several types of housing, including:
- Student-specific housing. Town Lake Apartments, St. Edward’s University Casa Residence Hall, College Houses Co-op, and Ballpark North.
- Affordable housing. DMA Properties, Saison North Apartments, Abali Apartments, and June West Apartments.
- Case-managed housing. Housing Connector and Accolade Property Management, offering options for students who may need additional assistance finding housing.
ACC CARE Coordinators were also on site to help students connect with other essential resources and support services available through the College.
Another Housing Fair Planned for Spring
Following the success of the event, the C.A.R.E. Network is planning another Supportive Housing Fair for spring 2027. Additional details will be shared as they become available.
