Summer registration will be here before you know it. With classes expected to fill up fast, now is the time to plan. Current and former Austin Community College District (ACC) students get in early, with registration beginning on Monday, April 1. Registration opens for everyone on Friday, April 5. 

REGISTRATION CHECKLIST

  1. Get Your Ducks in a Row | First, make sure you are ready to register by checking your MyACC account (under Registration & Payments) for any Holds or Transcript requests. 
  2. Make a Plan | Next, check out the summer course schedule and see what’s available.
  3. Use Your Free Support | Not sure which classes to take? Connect with your advisor!  Your assigned Advisor can help you select the right classes for your program and stay on track with your educational and career goals. 
  4. Know Your Options | There are multiple options for class offerings.
    1. In-person courses are available on every campus, 
    2. Online courses have both synchronous and asynchronous tracks, 
    3. Hybrid courses offer some class periods virtually so you can log in and learn online, and other classes meet in person (things like lab time and in-person activities usually meet in person), and 
    4. Hyflex classes give you flexibility, so you can attend in person or log in virtually whenever you have an unexpected conflict and can’t make it to campus.
  5. Register for Classes | Once you have a plan, set a reminder for when registration opens. You can register for one course at a time or all courses simultaneously through  MyACC. 
  6. Make a Plan to Pay | Now is the time to apply for financial aid by submitting your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA). When it comes time to pay for your summer courses, remember that ACC offers online and by-mail options, including checks, credit cards, money orders, and cashier’s checks from U.S. banks. And, if you need more time or some flexibility with your payments, you can set up an interest-free payment plan. 
  7. Welcome to Summer | The summer semester begins Tuesday, May 28, with 5-, 9-, and 10-week class options.
