Contact the advocate on the closest campus for individual support accessing resources or applying for benefits like SNAP and WIC. The Student Advocacy Center (SAC) also offers case management, advising, textbook & child care scholarships, clothes and more for students with very little financial support. To have an advocate reach out to a student, complete this SAC referral form or request information here.

Winter Holiday Bash
ACC students and staff are invited to bring their children to the Winter Holiday Bash hosted by ACC’s Student Advocacy Center on 12/12 at South Austin Campus and 12/13 at Round Rock Campus. Festivities will include hot cocoa, holiday themed crafts, snacks, and holiday cheer (including a photo opportunity with Santa)! RSVP by 5 pm, Friday, December 1

ACC’s TRiO Student Support Services 
TRiO provides a network of support to help eligible first-year students navigate their journey to stay on track to complete their certificate or degree and graduate or transfer to a university, including the opportunity to apply for a $1000 annual scholarship. Applications are accepted all year: or 512-223-2220 

Financial and Rental Assistance (Travis) / Housing Stability (Hays/Blanco/Caldwell)
El Buen Samaritano provides tenant rental assistance services to those at risk of facing eviction. The assistance could go towards rent, moving, and storage costs. Apply here.
The Blanco River Regional Recovery Team provides rental assistance for residents of San Marcos and other housing financial supports in Hays, Blanco, and Caldwell Counties. More info & application here.

Pet Care & Spay/Neutering
Emancipet offers “free day” mobile spay/neuter clinics for residents of Austin and Travis County as well as low-cost services in their Austin clinics. Care includes heartworm prevention and treatment, vaccinations, dental care, and more. 512-587-7729
Pet food support is frequently available at El Buen Food Pantries.
