Apply for a Fully Funded Leadership Opportunity!

ACC Ascender invites current enrolled ACC students who have participated in the Ascender program to apply for the HACU ¡Adelante! Leadership Institute (Student Track) on November 1–3, 2025, at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Aurora, Colorado. A total of 10 students will be selected to attend.

What is it like to attend the Conference?

What to Expect:

• Travel to Aurora, Colorado, with ACC students and staff (flights depart Friday, Oct. 31; hotel check-out is Tuesday, Nov. 4)
• Attend a three-day leadership and career development symposium
• Network with over 800 students from across the U.S. and Puerto Rico
• Participate in workshops, presentations, luncheons, and a town hall
• Meet recruiters and conference exhibitors offering career, internship, and research opportunities

Eligibility Criteria:

• Currently enrolled at ACC
• Must have participated in the ASCENDER program as a student
• Completed at least 12 ACC college credit hours (Continuing Education, developmental, and transfer credits do not count)
• Minimum 2.50 cumulative GPA at ACC
• At least 18 years old at the time of application
• Completed application, including essay responses and resume, in this form

***All majors are welcome to apply. This opportunity is open to students of all genders, races, and ethnicities who meet the above criteria.

• Registration opens: Friday, September 12, 2025, at 5:00 PM CT
• Deadline to apply: Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 5:00 PM CT
