October is Financial Aid Month, and it’s a great time to get a head start on your 2027–28 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA).
You don’t have to figure it out alone. Throughout October, ACC’s financial experts are offering workshops where you can get personalized help with your application, learn about your options, and get your questions answered.
ACC workshops can help you apply for:
- Grants — money you generally don’t have to repay
- Work-study — part-time jobs that can help you pay for college
- Loans — money you borrow and repay
- Scholarships — financial support that may help cover college costs
