The Latin American Cultural Center (formerly known as the Latin American Studies Center, also known as “El Centro”, is ACC’s interdisciplinary center supporting Latine/x heritage and programming at ACC. It strives to increase knowledge of the culture, history, and contribution of the Latine/x community in Austin and Central Texas, as well as offer a global perspective for the ACC community. El Centro offers:
- A welcoming academic environment
- An appreciation of Latine/x culture and history
- Mentoring, advising, and support resources throughout a student’s enrollment at ACC

- Cafecito Con (Coffee Talks)
- Cine at El Centro (Movie Screenings)
